Shop Talk April 21

Sacramento region college and high school teachers are meeting to share how they are teaching advanced manufacturing courses to their students remotely.

This afternoon, we have Randy Schuster, from American River College who shares several tools he uses to connect on-line with his students. In addition, he ‘spotlights’ some of his students’ work as a way to inform us what skills and software students in ARC’s Design Technology Program experience.

And, by popular demand, I have agreed to share a website EdPuzzle, a free site that allows the user to edit YouTube videos, add your voice-over to the video and imbed questions your students need to answer while viewing the video.    The site allows the teacher to track students’ progress and appears to integrates into most LMS’.
